Faith-Based Discernment Counseling

Faith-Based Discernment Counseling is a pastoral brief protocol that is distinct from traditional marriage counseling or psychotherapy. It is a relatively new approach to divorce intervention, utilizing a focused series of conversations with couples facing divorce. It is designed to identify and clarify their openness to a process of reconciliation to save their marriage. This helps the couple in marital distress make sure that divorce is their best and only option.
